Options/Recorder
Opens the Recorder Options dialog, shown below, which allows you to
specify settings that SilkTest uses when recording.
General Options
Change Hotkey To Ctrl+Shift If checked, SilkTest waits for you to press
Ctrl+Shift for verifications, instead of the default Ctrl+Alt.
Default is unchecked.
Record Multiple Tags If checked, SilkTest records multiple tags whenever
recording. SilkTest records the tags that are specified in the Record Window
Declarations Options dialog. For more information, see "About tags" on
page 85.
Default is checked.
Verification
Verify Using Properties If checked, verify test application using properties
(instead of attributes). Default is checked.
Note This option is checked automatically if you have enabled
enhanced support for Visual Basic or PowerBuilder; these features
both require properties for verification. You cannot uncheck the
Verify Using Properties option without disabling enhanced support
for Visual Basic and PowerBuilder.
Data File for Property Sets Specifies the file containing the definitions for
the property sets being used.
For more information about verification using properties and property sets,
see "Verifying using properties" on page 115.
Recorded Events
Record Only Low Level Events If checked, specifies that you want to
record events at a lower level for selected controls.
