Introduction to Client/Server
Testing
SilkTest and QA DBTester
(a companion product to SilkTest) provide
powerful support for testing client/server applications and/or databases in a
networked environment. Testing multiple remote applications raises the level
of complexity of QA engineering above that required for stand-alone
application testing. This chapter introduces certain principles of concurrent
programming that you need to understand when developing client/server
testcases or any testcases that must operate in a networked environment.
