Speed test wireless connection? are there any software utilities--online or otherwise--that can test the speed of my wireless connection. or will any online speed test measure my wireless connection the same as if i were connected via ethernet?
Any speed test will be constrained by the slowest link between the PC and the server running the speed test. Typically this will be the link from your home to the internet. If you have a dsl line with 1.5 M down and 384 k up, this will typically be slower than the wireless link between your PC anf the Wireless Router.
