GUI:WinRunner WinRunner is used to run the Vusers on Windows
machines.
You can run only a single GUI Vuser on each machine. For
more information, refer to the Creating Vuser Scripts
guide
.
GUI:VXRunner VXRunner is used to run the Vusers on UNIX workstations.
You can run many GUI Vusers in the background on a
single machine. While the Vusers run, you can use your
workstation for other tasks.
Note that GUI:UX Vusers cannot execute Context Sensitive
TSL functions. For more information, refer to the Creating
GUI Virtual User Scripts (UNIX)

GUI:XRunner
XRunner is used to run the Vusers on UNIX Workstations.
You can run GUI Vuser scripts that contain Context
Sensitive TSL functions. You can run fewer GUI Vusers on
each machine. Note that you cannot use a workstation's
keyboard or mouse while a GUI:XRunner Vuser is
executing a Vuser script. For more information, refer to the

GUI:XRunner(bg)
XRunner is used to run the Vusers on UNIX Workstations
in background mode.
