Perform Quality Analyst

Perform Quality Analyst duties (reproduce defects, test enhancements, test defect fixes, build/maintain test systems, create and document test cases, write test scripts), participating in the development of several suites of complex Windows and web-ready applications which utilize a Microsoft SQL database. Participate on cross-functional teams, coordindate and communicate with Software Engineers, Product Analysts and other Quality Analysts. Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with challenging deadlines, and be able to manage multiple tasks as well as changing and evolving priorities.

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

Successful candidate requires a minimum of 1-2 years experience as a Quality Analyst. Requires experience with creating and writing test cases, and familiarity with the Windows environment.

Additional Skills: Experience with APL applications and/or Microsoft SQL database a plus as individual must be willing to learn and demonstrate the ability to test and maintain systems in this environment. Well-qualified candidate has experience with writing creating and maintaining automated test scripts. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science management information systems, Health Information Management or related field is a plus. Good verbal and written communication skills are a must. Candidate must be able to work both independently and in a team environment. Ability to take individual initiative and responsibility for assignments. Ability to meet agressive timelines set in project plans and regularly communciate progress.
