Software Tester

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be an experience tester with 4+ years of testing experience. The QA Tester will have experience and attention to detail in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate that the application software code meets the design specifications and requirements. The successful candidate will have the ability to perform data manipulation for comparison tests in an Oracle 10g database environment using PL/SQL or Java. The candidate must be comfortable with command line sessions on Linux or UNIX and have familiarity with a bug-tracking software package

Job Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related discipline with a 3.0 GPA or higher * 4+ years of increasingly complex and progressive experience in performing integrated application system testing * Knowledge and experience with Quality Center (QC) * Demonstrated experience performing system testing * Demonstrated experience in the design and development of detailed software test cases * Demonstrated experience in the design and development of test scripts using Quick Test Professional (QTP) * Hands-on experience with full lifecycle software and database testing * Experience working with a team of testers, developers, and Federal/State clients * Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment is required * Demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to perform data analysis using Oracle 10g PL/SQL and TOAD and/or Java
