Software QA Engineer
Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases and test procedures for software testing
* Create and maintain automated test scripts
* Participate in software development lifecycle through design, development, and testing phases
* Develop QA standards and processes
* Interact with software development team
* Schedule and manage release cycle QA process
* Streamline QA process
* Work with technical support and customer service representatives to support customer needs
* Promote software quality throughout the organization
* Keep abreast of new developments in software QA
* Attend seminars and conferences to learn and develop best practices for QA
Requirements
* BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar
* Good programming skills
* Strong math and analytical skills
* Ability to critically analyze software
* Excellent attention to detail
* Quality conscious attitude
* Good communication skills
* Excellent writing skills
* Strong belief in the importance of QA
* Passion for software quality and testing
