Senior Test Engineer

In this position the person will work in a concurrent engineering environment with test development and the various engineering groups both internal and externally, to define DFT requirements along with developing test programs/processes for meeting manufacturing test requirements. This person will oversee different test processes including defining and tracking milestone, reviewing test coverage and efficiencies, test setup, test create/modification and training of key test personnel where required. In a JDM/ODM environment determine contractor capabilities, validate procedures, review and/or contribute in the test code development. In addition, this person is also responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing test processes and programs to improve yields and reduce test times. This person will also provide ongoing support for test until EOL. Travel is required.

Qualifications:

• BSEE, BSCE or BSCS with programming skills in an OOL such as JAVA or C++ preferred.

• Minimum of 7 years experience in engineering or manufacturing test development with the ability to debug external storage or complex systems down to the component level.

• Able to architecture and develop test programs to support new product bring-up along with the ability to remotely coordinate and project manage multiple Contract sites.

• Prior test experience in a DFT environment with Product Introduction)along with the ability to coordinate multiple test releases and address test issues with outsourced design suppliers .
