Senior QA Analyst

Primary Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement efficient and effective test plans for IT implementations, including new systems problems and/or enhancements, as well as an understanding of QA methodology, processes and associated automated testing tools

* Gather technical requirements and test applications while working on our new web portal

* Work on a new application platform for all of OptumHealth

* Participate in development releases with the technical team

* Perform system and regression testing for QA purposes

* Create test scripts, test cases and user cases

* Trouble shooting system issues as needed

* Provide assistance in overall end user support (Process Improvement)

* Document inefficiencies or gaps in existing processes and recommend specific and innovative changes to effect improved efficiencies

* Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members and business partners

Qualifications

Qualifications:

* Quality Analyst experience - 5 years

* Experience creating test scripts, test plans, and test approach documents - 5 years

* Experience reviewing BRD and use cases - 5 years

* Experience working with Test Director - 3 years

* Experience working with database testing - 3 years

* Experience testing web based applications - 3 years

* MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) - Proficient

Assets:

* Experience working with Agile methodology

* Experience leading and mentoring with cross functional testing teams

* Healthcare industry experience
