Software Test Engineer

Seeking qualified software test engineers to help with new product development as well as sustaining work on existing products and projects. Responsibilities will include writing test code to automate testing, tracking issues in our defect tracking system, and verifying fixes. Responsibilities also include writing test scripts and test cases to meet assigned requirements, communicating with the product development teams on product issues, and working with our tech writer to see that all enhancements, bug fixes, and new products are documented.

Successful candidates must possess:

* Bachelor of Science in a technical field or equivalent experience and aptitude * 2 or more years of coding experience in at least one of our main development environments: Visual Basic, Visual C++, C# or VB.NET * Willingness and demonstrated aptitude to learn additional skills (UI test automation, version control, configuration management, build automation, etc.) as necessary. * A demonstrated aptitude for paying attention to details

Desirable skills include:

* Some experience using component software (.NET, ActiveX, etc.) * Some experience with quality assurance practices and methodologies * Some experience with automated testing and/or unit testing frameworks * Some experience with digital imaging * Some experience with UNIX and other operating systems * Some experience with ASP and/or HTML
