QA Analyst

// Responsibilities //

*Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, competitive and politically-charged environment.

*Supervise the activities of the Requirements Analysis and Software Test Teams that consist of Technical Experts with the following disciplines: - Software Testing -- automated and manual - Business Analysis - Requirements Analysis - System Engineering

* Establish and maintain client relationships.

* Responsible for project schedules and reviews, work oversight, project loading for the team, identifying circumstances that may impact projects, and participation in documentation and performance management.

* Develop and manage emerging standards and processes in support of the overall Software Development Life Cycle.

* Oversee the technical activities of the Team, and provide guidance, training and assistance in preparing artifacts for software development projects.

// Skills Required //

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office software.

* Strong understanding of business and governmental processes.

* Inquisitive, forward-thinking.

* Ability to supervise a diverse workforce.

// Qualifications //

* 5+ years of experience involving software development, QA testing and fielding projects.

* 2 years of experience in a leadership role preferred.

* Must have strong knowledge of the software development life cycle, including programming languages, programming and analysis techniques, relational databases, operating systems, test planning and test methodologies and test data management.

* Strong experience with development and implementation of test strategies and test plans from requirements and design documentation.

* Bachelor's degree preferred.
