(QA) Planning and Execution Engineer

DESCRIPTION: The Planning & Execution Automation engineer will be primarily responsible for planning automation activities and executing the automated test scripts for major releases within the product life cycle. The engineer will be working in within the company*s Tools & Automation department.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Liaison with Quality release department and various QA departments to plan automation regression. Pro-actively plan and perform regression of the automated test scripts Prioritize execution activities to meet the challenging deadlines Improve productivity by pro-actively engage QA verticals with preparing the automated test environment Ability to analyze, debug and suggest solutions to efficiently execute the automated test scripts Adhere to release/project schedule and milestones Ability to multitask and provide support between major and minor release cycles

REQUIREMENTS/REQUIRED SKILLS:

5+ years experience working in complex Automated and QA environments 3+ years experience working in automation development/integration and testing of automation tools 2+ years experience in planning, implementation and execution of mid-large projects release Sound programming experience with Silk Test programming language Excellent verbal and written communication skills Knowledge of Unix, Windows Operating systems, SQL and Unix Scripting
