Quality Assurance Specialist

This position works under limited supervision and is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality systems of the company. This position is also involved in training new Quality Assurance personnel on general and specific quality management processes and requirements. They will also be involved in training other departments in quality management processes and requirements Responsibilities include: Maintain on-site quality systems Perform and report internal/external audits Document control and maintenance. Verification of product testing data and product release Work with other departments to insure customer needs are met with respect to quality systems, this includes but is not limited to custom documentation, Quality agreements, change control, etc. Participate in project teams, providing QA input and communicating expectations Provide QA assistance with product/process development programs Assist with on-site inspections/audits by regulatory agencies and customers Work with in-house personnel and contract manufacturers to resolve issues; develop methods, techniques and evaluation criteria to obtain results Review and approve deviations, failure/complaint investigations and corrective/preventive actions. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements To qualify for this position, an individual must possess a combination of experience and education that would likely produce the required knowledge and abilities. Bachelor's degree in scientific discipline.
