Lead Software QA / Testing Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES: The Lead Software QA / Testing Analyst is responsible for leading and managing the testing of PDS products by: Coordinating the development of best practices for software verification and validation test strategies; Conducting the development of system testing documentation; Assisting software development through the development of Software Requirement Specification, High Level Design, and any relevant development documentation; Conducting system testing for general testing of Express™; Conducting system testing for PDS development tools; Reporting testing and review anomalies, as appropriate, to the Sr. Director, QA & Compliance and the New Product Development team.

The Lead Software QA / Testing Analyst also mentors and manages Software QA Representatives from an administrative perspective by conducting periodic career planning and development meetings, performance goal setting, performance review and career development recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.

Candidates must also have 2+ years managing software validation projects; 3+ years developing validation documentation, such as Software Requirements Specification (SRS), Traceability Reports, Validation Plans, Testing Protocols, and Testing Summary Reports; 3+ years developing validation testing scripts, such as Installation Qualifications, Operational Qualifications, Performance Qualifications; thorough understanding of automated testing tools (Boreland Silk Test preferred); and working knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11.
