Software QA Engineer

This work requires the incumbent to have knowledge and application of Quality Assurance (QA) principles and techniques, able to work independently, and have excellent oral and written communication skills. The incumbent is responsible for Performing QA activities for all project. Candidate will adhere to standards and check lists in order to verify requirements, software deliverables, phase activities, phase milestones, and software releases are compliant with existing processes. Evaluate and verify software development products and software activities/reviews to ensure conformance to established quality standards and processes. Participate in requirements and test development reviews and act as primary approver for peer review closures. Participate in document reviews and act as a final approver for document releases. Participate in lab certifications and audit Verification and Validation (V&V) test procedure closures. Perform Personal Computer Memory Card International Association (PCMCIA) card verifications on aircraft. Develop final QA reports (verifying traceability from requirements to implementation to testing), ensuring that all requirements have been tested. Identify and report all non-compliance issues.

BS degree or higher from an accredited university
