Quality Assurance Analyst, Software

Job Description:

The Quality Assurance Analyst develops and executes software test plans in order to identify software problems and their causes by performing the following duties:

* Perform hands-on testing based on written test plans, test cases, and end-user needs * Administer un-attended testing based upon scripting and/or automated platform * Develop test plans for functional testing, regression testing, & acceptance testing * Maintain test repository for results, reports and defects * Analyze and troubleshoot potential defects to identify likely causes * Work with customers to identify, validate, generate test cases and log defects * Work closely with software developers to ensure high-quality releases

* Perform black-box and ad hoc testing on new and existing product features

Recommended Skills:

* 2+ years quality assurance experience * Strong logical & problem-solving skills, creative thinker and solid follow through * Passion for qualify assurance of web based application * Attention to detail along with the ability for abstraction * Familiarity with Seapine QA Wizard and other test automation tools * Willingness to adapt/learn .NET/C# and basic SQL knowledge * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work in a fast moving environment with quick turnaround objectives
