Lead QA Automation Engineer
Key Accountabilities:
• Provides technical leadership and test automation assistance to other QA engineers; raises the technical expertise of the QA team.
• Assists in scoping, resource analysis, and scheduling tasks.
• Defines standards for testing and test documentation.
• Develops, executes, and maintains software test plans; test designs, documentation, test harness and test cases.
• Works with Client Services, Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to resolve process issues and product related anomalies.
• Writes and maintains orderly test results and status reports.
• Writes, clarifies and verifies software anomaly/bug reports.
• Conducts technical review of project and product documentation, tutorials, and support materials.
• Completes other Software Quality Assurance tasks as assigned.
• Problem Solving: Analyzes problems and generates alternative solutions quickly and accurately. Can sort through complexities and distinguish unimportant or irrelevant issues from key components.

Education and Experience:
• BS in Computer Science, MIS or related; Masters preferred
• 10+ years experience in software QA
• 5+ years of technical experience in database testing or web application or development
• 5+ years experience in automated testing
• Experience defining and implementing SQL database testing strategy with emphasis on data integrity.
• Experience defining and implementing web application testing strategy.
• Thorough understanding and demonstrated experience driving implementation of state-of-the-art software quality assurance methods, strategies, concepts, and tools throughout the organization.
• Demonstrated strong collaboration skills applied across functional team boundaries
• Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills
