Senior Software QA Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities:
*
Develop design test plans and procedures to verify software and hardware design functionality and performance
*
Write verification procedures based on software specifications
*
Execute test procedures to verify the software intended use and product requirements
*
Document test results
*
Provide technical leadership on projects or on specific components of projects
*
Provide support in the resolution of customer complaints and/or safety issues
Qualifications:
*
Detail oriented with an understanding of the Software QA process
*
Familiar with use of defect tracking and/or configuration management tools, automated testing tools
*
General computer knowledge, especially Windows XP operating system, PC architecture and networking
*
Strong oral/written communication skills required
*
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
*
Two to five years software quality assurance experience in a regulated industry such as the medical device industry
*
DICOM and/or medical imaging
