Test Development Engineer

Position Description:

- Responsible for system test process development, including upgrades to product feature testing requirements. - Be the Test Lead to transfer new products to manufacturing sites. - Participate from the initial product development stage, and manage system test processes until product end of life. - Support new product failure analysis during proto, EVT, DVT, PVT builds. - Participate in test related engineering discussions, log test related defects and track and monitor in the issue resolution. - Development of test applications and processes. - Standardization and optimization of the test processes. - Product failure analysis and drive issue resolutions. - Some experience in project management and people management will be a bonus. -This position will be working independently at our vendor's site. -Minimal travel to our headquarters in Cupertino, CA.

- Possess a Bachelor in Electronics Engineering, or Computer related degrees. - Good spoken and written English - Candidates with more than 10+ years of experience in product and test process development in Computer industry preferred. - Proficient in computer architecture, C and C++ programming, Unix UNIX or MacOS shell scripting and commands (PERL preferred), engineering problem solving and experimental techniques - Familiarity with Mac hardware and software is preferred.
