DATA QA SUPERVISOR
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop, implement and manage the Quality Assurance for our systems to ensure data integrity, compliance and reporting;
* Oversee validation of milestone and other performance outcome claims of various workforce programs, including but not limited to: Individual Training Grants, Trade Adjustment Act Training Grants, Employment Works and Sector Centers programs, and City Council Contracts;
* Supervise processes, policies and procedures to ensure validation meets needs of internal and external customers;
* Develop, implement and manage the quality assurance practices that enable validation of outcomes as well as data integrity;
* Train and supervise staff to assure that validation processes are implemented according to established standards and within planned timeframes;
* Monitor the accuracy and completeness of all claims processed;
* Troubleshoot and resolve customer complaints and reconcile claims discrepancies as needed;
* Identify areas for business process improvements; participate in development of enhancements of claims validation system.
* Supervise team of 4 professional staff dedicated to data quality assurance and validation PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIAL SKILLS/AREAS OF STUDY
* Experience with Quality Assurance in a Service Related Industry
* Experience managing operational processes with attention to details
* Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
* Excellent strategic thinking, operations, quantitative/qualitative skills
* Excellent writing and editing skills
* Interest in continual process improvement and change management
* Strong data analysis skills and comfort learning
* Knowledge of database systems with ability to run reports and queries
* Experience with HTML, SQL, and Microsoft Access, Project, PowerPoint and Visio is desired.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college is preferred
2. Education/training in data analysis and quality assurance
3. Two years of relevant full-time professional experience in a supervisory capacity preferred
