QA Manager/Quality Engineer

this position is responsible for overseeing auditing of Canvys’ processes with a concentration on ISO 9000 and the Corrective Action System. This position will interface at both functional and senior management levels with regard to ISO 9000, process improvement, performance analysis and re-engineering. Development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the ability to use statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.

Bachelors Degree required, Master degree preferred, ASQ certification (CQE) or an associate’s degree in a related field with 3-5+ years of ISO 9000 experience, good knowledge of statistics, ESD controls and be able to use basic measuring equipment. Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel are required. Knowledge of MS Access, Visio and Minitab Statistical Software is a plus. Candidate must have the willingness and ability to take on greater responsibilities and increased travel.
