IT Quality Assurance Analyst Senior
Experience and Technical Skills required:
- 6 + years QA/Testing Experience preferred, minimum 3 years required.
- Automated script writing experience required.
- Knowledge of DB2 and/or SQL Server and basic capabilities (e.g., able to write queries).
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Experience writing test approaches and plans.
- Ability to work independently on multiple concurrent projects and manage priorities.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities.
- Proven analytical skills and strong technical aptitude.
- Sound knowledge of industry standards, methodologies, and terminology related to software testing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be a team player.
- Shows initiative and is self driven.
- Ability to read, interpret, and question complex technical documentation.
- Ability and willingness to provide improvement ideas for team and department.
Preferred:
- Two year degree in Computer Science.
- Knowledge of Client/Server Web, Mainframe and Database applications.
- Knowledge of programming (Visual Basic, C++, C#, etc.).
- QTP or Other automated testing tools experience preferred.
