SQA Engineer
• Provide both manual and automated quality assurance testing.
• Perform test case and code reviews.
• Actively participate in the QA process through requirements/design analysis and planning completed during Sprint kickoff meetings.
• Determine QA work items and estimate time to completion for a given time frame.
• Work closely with the development and support to reproduce, isolate and resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot customer defects.
• Identify security and performance issues.
• Complete process documentation for testing standards and maintain documentation of test results.
Qualifications
• Position requires a minimum of 5 years of applicable professional QA experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent software engineering QA experience is required.
• Proficiency in designing test cases and contributing to effective test planning.
• Familiar with the development Agile approach.
• Must have experience with networking, security, Web Apps and client/server software applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic defects, networking, and operating system problems.
• Team-player attitude and the ability to work in a multi-tasking fast paced environment.
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium and Nunit.
• Experience with Web applications/.Net (Configuration, fundamentals, diagnostics), IIS (Administration & diagnostics), C# (application development, SQL Server (query and administration), HTML, HTTP, Web services, xml, xpath, Active Directory, Networking technologies and applications and Security and Management applications.
• Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Have great organizational and time management skills.
