Quality Assurance Manager You will be responsible for establishing, implementing and managing the quality assurance program and methodologies. The goal of this position is to ensure the product development and technological solutions have the appropriate quality level before and when they go into production. This includes planning and executing the quality assurance test effort to ensure accuracy and efficiency of technology and applications.

Key roles include: • Supervise the writing of test plans and scripts, execution of tests, and analysis of test results • Supervise the implementation and maintenance of various QA automated tools, labs and environments as required by the specific position • Develop documents and implements quality assurance, quality control and testing processes, methodologies and standards • Manage the analysis and reporting on overall testing quality statistics and creates and/or implement improvement initiatives based on reporting • Responsible for managing and directing both permanent and consultant resources- on & off shore • Delivers quality process training to technical staff and acts as an internal quality consultant to advise or influence business or technical partners.

Requirements Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications: • Minimum 6+ years of technical QA experience; Minimum 5+ years training and managing the activities of QA personnel • College or technical school graduate; American Society of Quality certified (ASQ) required • Proficient with automated testing tools and defect tracking tools to an intermediate/expert level • Proficiency level SQL skills; experience with Help Desk and QA report generation • Experience in the database management industry and/or engineering background is a plus • Adaptive & flexible to changes due to the needs of the business • Strong communication skills – written and oral; Extreme attention to detail • Ability to coach and mentor; proven leadership and team building skills; delegation skills • Ability to interact with all levels of staff • Solid judgment and decision making abilities
