Sr. Engineering Test Technician

Job Summary:

Responsibilities to Include:

· Performs a variety of complex technical functions relating to the support of engineering activities such as test set-up, test performance, test equipment maintenance, fixture modification, calibration, detailing and/or troubleshooting of systems, circuitry, prototype models, or specialized equipment.

· Diagnoses and corrects equipment and system malfunctions which fail to respond to standard corrective measures.

· Interprets specifications used in designing, maintaining, and calibrating electronic systems, chassis or components.

· Prepares logs, reports, charts and graphs for scientific or engineering personnel to use in making decisions on design or experiment development.

· Provides guidance to lower level technicians.

Education:

Position Requirements:

· Requires 5 years experience in the performance of vibration and thermal testing.

· Must be able to program various vibration and temperature profiles in relation to special development testing.

· Must be able to run thermal chambers in the performance of ESS testing on Missile Controls and Aircraft Controls hardware.

· Requires knowledge of electronics, physics, math, chemistry, etc
