Senior QA Analyst

Required Skills:

5+ years of internet experience in QA, programming and/or system administration

Ability to generate SQL queries, database validations etc (Mandatory)

Must have extensive experience in testing ecommerce websites (Mandatory)

Self-starter who is a quick at learning new material and concepts.

Solid knowledge of Quality Assurance fundamentals

Experience in Test Plan/Case development and execution

Experience with QTP testing tool and/or scripting languages (mandatory)

Experience in testing across various Operating Systems, applications and browsers.

Good understanding of underlying internet technologies and infrastructure

Basic understanding of programming concepts and operating systems.

Experience with Microsoft based technologies (e.g. IIS, SQL 2005).

Some knowledge of programming concepts (e.g. ATG, Java, J2EE).

Testing attitude: skeptical, creative, experimental, and attentive to end user details.

Testing approach: highly organized and systematic.

Enthusiastic, flexible, professional team player.

Excellent communication skills: written and verbal

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment with weekly production releases

Knowledge of the ATG system (nice to have)

Experience working on an e-Commerce platform – knowledge of security protocols, b2c sites, b2b sites, secured web pages for credit card transactions, cookied pages etc.. (must have)

Knowledge of Mercury Test Director (nice to have)

Knowledge of Load testing concepts and process (nice to have)

Due to the nature of the job there are times when you will be required to work flexible hours to meet certain deadlines - late releases etc.

Solid communication skills required

Education:

Bachelors Degree or over 7 years experience
