Sofware Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with software developers and quality team members to define requirements and acceptance criteria for their features * Analyze application specification and design documents to determine test scenarios * Define and execute test cases; manage defects through resolution * Define, capture, and report test execution status metrics including test cases completed, defects identified and fixed, defects by type, and time to resolution * Establish and manage integration system test environments, including basic system administration tasks and basic network configuration * Continuously improve test processes and techniques * Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

* 4+ years hands-on software test experience * 2+ years developing or working with test automation tools * Experience working with Linux, embedded Linux a plus * Building/working with automation frameworks * Scripting experience with: Ruby, Perl, Python * Ability to read/comprehend C code is a plus * Proficiency with writing test cases * Experience working with products supporting multiple languages * Passion for software quality and positive customer experience * Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking * Linux system administration skills * Familiarity with SVN a plus * Familiarity with build process a plus, especially Hudson
