Quality Assurance Analyst

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and develop test plans, test cases • Design and develop automated test scripts (both functional and performance) • Participate in all phases of the test cycle, including Integration/System Testing, Performance Testing, Regression Testing, User Acceptance Testing, etc. • Perform both new functionality and regression tests and identify, analyze and report issues using the defect tracking tool • Execute manual and automated test cases and scripts. • Participate in software requirement, specification and design reviews • Document and report results to stake holders. • Assess readiness of application based upon test results and product specifications. Job Requirements: Bachelor Degree • 4+ years Quality Assurance experience • 2+ years work experience testing web, client/server applications. • 2+ years work experience with HP QTP, HP Load Runner, HP Quality Center • 1+ years work experience with QTP descriptive programming • Having worked with VB Script, C, C++ • Knowledge of testing methodologies and software development life cycle models • Experience in creation and usage of SQL queries (Microsoft SQL Server) • Effective time management and participation in estimation activities. • Meticulous and detail oriented • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently without constant supervision required • Strong sense of ownership and good follow through skills • Must be a "team player"
