Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Qualities being sought are:

Expertise in the following areas is a must:

* 3-5 years experience in software system testing * 1-2 years in quality assurance of J2EE and Web based applications * 1+ year experience in testing Web Services and XML integration interfaces * 3-5 years total IT experience * Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing lifecycle practices * Expertise with defect tracking systems and test planning tools * Experience with automation test tools

Desired qualifications include:

* Experience in hospitality or meeting planning industry * Experience with TechExcel DevTrack and TechExcel DevTest * Experience with Mercury's load and regression testing tools. * Experience with MS SQL Server or other relational databases * Understanding of Web-based application architectures and application servers (particularly JBoss and Tomcat) * Knowledge of programming languages particularly Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, SQL * Leadership qualities & experience

Educational Qualifications: BS required, preferably in Computer Science, Electronics, Network Systems, EE or Math
