Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• IP routing & Layer 2 switching/routing protocols. • Storage Networking Applications • Network management software based on Java, SWING, HTMLWeb tools etc. • Work with architects and senior team members in designing additional tools to help development in simulation/emulation platforms and in performing scalability tests etc

Qualifications/Job Responsibilities: Education and Experience

• BS/MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering; or equivalent work experience. • Course work and familiarity with the following: • Basic knowledge of hardware and software systems • Familiarity with Ethernet and Fiber Channel protocols • Networking, Linux & embedded software courses • Java/Web programming courses • Proficient in C/C++ and/or Java and exposure to Perl • Strong problem solving and good verbal and written communication skills • Comfortable with technical and business English usage ( documents reading, e-mails, conference calls )

Physical requirements

• Frequent use of mouse and keyboard • Frequent phone usage • Occasional lifting up to 10 pounds
