Software QA Engineer

Essential Functions

· Understand the architecture, design, and implementation of the software product and participate in software specification reviews

o Analyze requirements specifications to create optimal test plans and strategies

o Identify, log and track issues in the bug tracking system

o Perform functional test, regression test, stress test and load test

o Develop automated test framework(s) for stress testing and regression testing

o Work with engineers to independently verify, test, and validate proposed test plans

o Document and publish test plans, test results, best practices

Requirements

· 2-3 years of QA testing/ Automation experience in Windows environment

o Working knowledge of writing Unit, Integration and System tests.

o Experience with developing and executing test plans and test cases, report defects and verify defect fixes

o Experience with understanding product requirements and developing test plans and detailed test cases.

o Working knowledge of SQL.

· Strong coding proficiency in C/C++/Java/C#/Perl

· Creative problem solving skills and highly effective communication skills

o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and juggle priorities

· Possess positive, result-focus, can-do, and hard-working attitude
