Software Quality Assurance Engineer
• Work closely with the developers to isolate and resolve issues. Troubleshoot customer defects,
• Perform test case and code reviews
• Develop test tools
• Provide quality assurance on product releases
• Actively participate in the QA process through requirements/design analysis and the development of test strategies and test plans for internal and external products
The candidate must be Strong organization and time management skills while working in a rapid software development process.
Qualifications
The position requires a minimum of 5+ years of applicable professional QA experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent software engineering QA experience is required
• Expert-level ability in two or more areas of test automation, network security, and quality assurance, combined with the abilities to work directly with source code (C/C++).
• Background in QA methodologies and have at least 2 years of experience with C/C++ programming
• Experience testing software on multiple Microsoft Windows operating systems is required
• Must have experience with networking, general desktop, and client/server software applications
• Ability to troubleshoot basic defects, networking, and operating system problems
• Team-player attitude and the ability to work in a multi-tasking fast paced environment
• Must be able to identify and learn new technologies quickly
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Experience with automation tools is preferred. Industry certifications such as CISSP, MCSE, CNE, CCNA, etc are a plus
