Vice President of Software Quality Assurance
Required Skills
The successful candidate for this position will demonstrate the following qualifications:
* Minimum of 15 years of experience in a Software Quality Assurance environment with a minimum of 10 years previous Software Quality Assurance senior management experience.
* Experience within a healthcare technology and/or similarly regulated environment is highly desired.
* Understanding of Scrum Agile development and SQA methodologies
* Prior experience managing geographically distributed teams - including extended off-shore project teams is critical.
* Requires a strong understanding of SQA methodologies and practices, including use case based testing and automation development for the purpose of continuous integration.
* Ability to work collaboratively across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels to drive results.
* Exceptionally strong interpersonal, negotiation, influence and relationship management skills that enable collaborative working relationships to be developed with other business units.
* Demonstrated ability & experience working in a matrixed environment; proven experience building and managing Software Quality Assurance teams.
* Excellent written/verbal skills for communicating with senior management, project team members and external stakeholders are a must
* Excellent analysis and communication skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders, to synthesize information, to present appropriate recommendations and manage the SQA process to completion within tight timelines.
* 10-15% travel expected
