Sr Software Engineer (QA)

Responsibilities:

Lead design and development of test infrastructure supporting functional tests, automated regression tests, performance tests, and stress tests of production software developed by the Technology team. Lead the selection of appropriate tools for developing and running tests, and analyzing results. Develop and maintain test plan and test case framework. Work closely with software engineers and production on reviewing and understanding user requirements, and defining associated test cases. Develop test plans and test cases to be implemented. Execute manual and automated tests, report and analyze results. Assess and report software issues.

Job Experience: Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years experience in a QA role with a demonstrated increase in responsibilities over time. Full software development lifecycle (SDLC) QA experience. Experience with QA processes and testing methodologies is essential. Experience in the QA of commercial products highly desired. Strong knowledge of test automation infrastructure and tools. Proven design and coding skills (Python preferred but C/C++ or Java acceptable). Experience working with issue tracking systems. Excellent problem solving, trouble shooting, and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must play well with others, both in technology and on production. Must be self directed, well organized and detail oriented. Creative ability and natural innovation to approach problems and tasks from a variety of perspectives.
