Software Quality Engineer

1) Review of customer requirement flow-down and customer interface, 2) Review of internal software plans, software requirements, design, code, and test documentation, 3) Develop program Software Quality Plans and procedures, 4) Interface with and support software engineering, program management, and software CM. 5) Audit skills with a focus towards compliance and process improvement; a) Plan and execute risk based audits through review of prior audit reports and discussion with management. b) Communicate results of audit findings and recommendations to management through concise and high quality audit reports. c) Obtain RRCA and Mistake-Proofed Corrective actions of the highest possible level that drives software development process to achieve technical excellence. d) Measure the effectiveness of the software quality process to drive continuous improvement. 6) Host customer SQA audits and interface between customer requirements and software development process practices Familiar with: a) Software development process, b) Standard such as: DO 178B and DO 254; Risk management; turn back systems and configuration management control. c) Software Review Board activities. Job requires: 1) Excellent Communication (reading and writing, as well as presentation) skills; 2) Excellent interpersonal relationship skills; 3) Analytical mind to interpret customer and/or Government requirements and the approach that software development engineering has taken to meet those requirements

Bachelors degree required; minimum 4 to 7+ years experience in a Q.A. software environment.
