Software Engineer- Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• The SQA automation engineer is also expected to be a team leader in the QA team, which requires training other engineers, providing and validating estimates, and understanding QA relevant metrics.

• Needs to have skills of a Grade A SQA automation engineer. Looking for highly motivated, QA-passionated automation developer with a high proficiency in C++ and/or Java - strong OO skills.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science degree or equivalent experience. • 2+ years coding experience with Java/C++ • 2+ years test automation experience with Windows applications and Web applications (not record/replay automation) • Expert in troubleshooting and debugging Windows applications. • Huge Plus: experience with Selenium and/or TestComplete, and Quality Center API • Plus: Working knowledge of Javascript or VBScript, and COM/OLE automation. • Nice to have: experience using virtualization for test automation, using VMware ESX server or Lab Manager.
