Data Analysis and QA

Position Summary: The primary responsibility in this position involves functional, regression and performance testing, including creation of test plans, test cases and test data. Other responsibilities include ensuring adherence to the testing methodology, tracking defects and reporting metrics, and supporting unit and acceptance testing.

Position Requirements:

• Perform all aspects of product testing including functional, regression, performance, usability and acceptance testing • Create test plans, scripts and data to support testing effort of new product releases • Execute manual tests as required • Work with current testing analysts to cover all testing needs • Generate test output and document results • Contribute to the tracking and resolution of bugs • Document and escalate testing related issues • Publish the release notes for all releases • Ability and desire to work in a team environment with IT peers and other staff

Position Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of software application testing and/or quality assurance techniques • Experience in Client/Server, Database and Unix Environments • Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to multi-task • Experience working with iterative development methodology • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage both time and test execution • Experience working with healthcare data a plus
