Senior Software QA Engineer
The ideal candidate will have tested GUI and telecommunications call flow features using manual and automated test techniques. They will have developed test strategies and plans for features based on requirements or design specifications. Excellent software problem troubleshooting, analysis, and documentation skills are also important. They also need the ability to define/adjust assignments to meet schedules in a dynamic environment.
Major Responsibilities:
Test and validate Java web-based GUIs, Database activities, and Call Flows for Voice over IP Telecommunications Applications.
Write and execute manual and automated test plans and test cases
Configure, manage, and maintain Windows and Unix/Linux test systems
Requirements:
Must Have:
Strong experience with Solaris and Linux environment
Experience testing Web-based Windows GUI applications
Telecommunications, data communications, or networking test experience
Bachelors degree with 8 -10 years of experience in the telecommunications field, preferably with some exposure to VoIP protocols
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
May Also Have:
Relational database testing experience (Oracle)
VoIP, PBX, Automatic Call Distribution, or Interactive Voice Recognition testing experience
System load testing or stress testing experience
Shell scripting and/or experience with automated testing tools
