the Production QA Assistant

the Production QA Assistant will be responsible for the quality assurance of e-mail campaigns. He/She will work closely with all key members of internal technical production staff to ensure flawless execution of e-mail marketing initiatives. This is a fast-paced, production oriented environment focused on quality where creative problem solving skills and a keen eye for detail will lead to success.

Position Details:

BA/BS with strong academic track record

1-3 years of related work experience

Expert in proofreading/editorial skills and practice

Extremely high attention to detail

Strong written and communication skills

Ability to multi-task and prioritize

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work in a team environment and cross disciplines

Position Experience:

Proofreads and reviews e-mail materials for accurate use of grammar, content, and functionality

Recommends corrections on grammatical, typographical, or compositional errors in original copy for external client deliverables as well as internal company communications

Ability to create and manage client specific style guides and standardizations

Identifies nonfunctioning aspect of e-mail campaign, ie. link destination, broken images

Has knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within e-mail marketing

Performs a variety of tasks and possesses strong prioritization and organizational skills to manage multiple requests simultaneously

Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager
