Performance Test Engineer

Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in quantitative area (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or other related field) - 10 or more years of experience in area of specialization with strong project/team leadership skills

Preferred Skills/Experience # Requires a high level of sophistication with Performance Testing Tools. Tools currently in use include HP LoadRunner and Empirix testing suites # A strong knowledge of reporting and analyzing performance test results; and an in-depth ability to apply intelligence in script writing to capture required performance measurements. # Has strong understanding of testing processes and manages their use. # Incumbent has over 8 years Business/Operations Analyst experience with project management responsibilities. # Requires server log analysis capability. # Requires understanding of back-end systems and databases (Sysplex environment and Central Server DB2 structures). # Possesses experience with CORBA, network monitoring (Candle). # Posses intermediate skill level in the following programming and scripting languages: JAVA, J2ee, JSP, XML, C/C++,UNIX, PL/SQL. # Incumbent has intermediate to advanced knowledge in problem solving. # Requires advanced skill set in Database architecture (DB2, ORACLE, SQLServer), Network architecture (TCP/IP, SNMP) and Statistics (Trending and Correlation) # Requires advanced knowledge in mathematics including queuing theory. # Possesses strong leadership and negotiations skills. # Possesses strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills. # Possesses strong project management, organizational and analytical skills. # Good knowledge of banking is preferred.
