Quality Assurance Analyst
Primary Duties:
• Design and maintain test plans scenarios and cases.
• Report software defects.
• Participate in the software development process from design to release.
• Develop and maintain automation interface scripts.
• Provide analysis and optimization of existing testing methodologies.
• Receive direction from the quality assurance manager.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Familiar with computer software quality standards (ISO, IEEE)
• Knowledge of various software testing methods (Regression, Load/Stress, Code Coverage Analysis, Black/White box testing, Acceptance, Performance)
• Knowledge of various operating systems (Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Linux, Unix)
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, MS-SQL)
• Good analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficient in web technologies, specifically: Perl, JavaScript, ActiveX and HTML.
• Good inter-personal skills.
Academic:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
