Testing Specialist

Responsibilities

Participate in formal reviews of business requirements, specifications, and mockups Plan, write, and maintain high quality test cases based on business requirements, specifications, and exploratory testing Aggressively locate, track, report, and regress issues Test Choicelinx web-based and windows-based applications Regularly execute documented and exploratory tests of Choicelinx applications Document and analyze test results Work with QA Automation Engineer/s to translate manual test cases into the automated test process Provide accurate project/application status to the Test Manager Work closely with development and customer support departments Aid in providing level 3 technical support Aid in the creation of Release Notes.

Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years experience testing ASP.Net web applications Strong foundation in QA methodologies and procedures Proficient with the SQL language and writing complex queries Strong experience with MS SQL Server and IIS Very strong communication (verbal and written) and team working skills Self motivated, detail oriented, and willingness to adapt to department and company needs Ideal candidate will have strong working experience and understanding with the following: oHTML oXML oC# oASP.Net oJavaScript oAJAX Familiarity with healthcare industry a plus Experience with Quality Center/ Test Director a plus
