QA Software Engineer

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Feature Review — Review and provide feedback on feature specifications as assigned. * Test Planning & Execution — Write, maintain, and execute test plans; investigate, log, track, and retest incidents. * Test Automation — Write and maintain test automation that ensures thorough feature and/or product testing. * QA Leadership — Participate in the creation of Master Test Plans and testing estimations.

Qualifications

* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. * 1+ years of direct experience in software quality assurance, software testing, programming, software development, project management, technical support, or other related experience in a software development capacity. * Strong working knowledge of Windows and/or UNIX operating systems and the ability to install, configure, and maintain these operating systems. * Experience with server software, web servers, and/or application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic and Tomcat. * Experience working with BI tools such as Business Objects, Cognos, and/or MicroStrategy considered an asset. * Proficiency with a programming or scripting language, such as C#, C++, and Java and JavaScript and proficiency with relational database systems. * Solid analytical and problem solving skills and strong attention to detail.
