Database Internals QA/Development Lab Engineer
Responsibilities:
* Maintain and improve the test automation suite
* Assist in maintaining and upgrading the hardware, software and networking infrastructure in the development lab.
Requirements:

* Comprehensive knowledge of SQL is a must
* 5+ years working with database internals or working in the QA, development or porting group of a database company
* Expert with UNIX tools like sed/grep and shell programs. On a scale of 1 to 10, we are looking for an 11
* A reasonable working knowledge of TCL is required
* Working knowledge of Visual C++ or a similar programming language.
* Comprehensive experience with Linux, Windows and Solaris operating systems and networking issues
* Experience in working with Intel, Sparc and networking hardware
* You should be detailed oriented and diligent
* A passion for keeping the code-base clean of bugs is necessary to succeed in this job
Additional Information:
We are not looking for a SQL Database application developer. Nor are we looking for a generic junior QA engineer. This is a very specific requirement for a Database Internals QA
