Software Test Engineer
Activities: Work on cutting edge technology and development tools. Test every aspect of the software before, during, and after the release cycle. Play a leadership role in moving quality testing upstream in the development process.
Responsibilities:
* Help design software products by championing quality, maintainability and testability in every feature
* Collaborate closely with software developers and testers in agile, fast-paced product release cycles
* Write and create development tools that tests the limits of our products
* Test our software products using white box and black box testing methods.
* Debug and modify application code in rapid release iterations
* Use unit tests, automation tests, code coverage, path analysis, source code debuggers, or profiling tools
* Track and analyze issues collected in the bug tracking system
* Lead team product demonstrations for the product team
Required Skills and Background:
* Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering or closely related degree, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
* Experience using development tools, languages and code libraries
* Experience with deficiency-tracking software, source control systems
* Excellent analytical skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills and works well on a team
* Self-motivated and passionate about quality and software excellence
Preferred Skills and Background:
* Self-motivated and passionate about quality and software excellence
* Experience with Visual Studio development tools, debugging tools, C++, MFC, COM, or C#/.NET
* Experience using Macintosh applications and development tools
