QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYSTS

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) • Help product owner with the creation of acceptance tests as part of the requirements. • Ensure the automation of test cases for their area of responsibility. • Execute automated tests. • Work proactively with members of an Agile team to find and fix software defects. • Produce and maintain test coverage reports for functional and automation coverage • Analyze defects / test results and be able to deduct the chain of events leading to a failure. • The QA Analyst is expected to gain a functional understanding of our product and operating system and become part of our ongoing feature and enhancement development effort. • Provide feedback on UltiPro product solutions, tools and other technical software features. • Provide support when needed to other members of Quality Assurance, Product Management and Product Support. • Communicate critical issues and status updates in a timely manner to management.

Requirements Required Qualifications/Skills: • Minimum three (3) years experience with QA methodologies and software testing. • Two (2) years experience using automated testing tools for Functional testing like FitNesse, Mercury QTP, Watir, Fit and/or other test automation tools. • Ability to write intermediate SQL code. • Experience developing software using programming languages like Ruby, VBScript, VB.NET, C#, Java and/or other programming languages is a plus. • Understands quality assurance methodologies and the principles of software design. • Experience developing and executing test plans / test scripts. • Experience collaborating with programmers and business analysts. • Proficiency in all MS office Products and operating systems. • Strong problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills: • Experience with Payroll / HR / Tax system desirable. • Team oriented - exposure to agile development methodology a plus.

Interpersonal Skills: • Self motivated and willing to “do what it takes” to get the job done • High degree of organizational skills • Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines • Detail oriented • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • High degree of self-motivation to learn new methodologies that will enhance job performance
