System Test Engineer

Responsibilities Responsibilities include supporting the test and analysis of state-of-the-art inertial and aided guidance and navigation systems. This will include the design, development and fabrication of the necessary test stations and test equipment as well as developing the appropriate test plans and procedures. The candidate will work as part of a team involved with all phases of testing including dynamic tests (centrifuge, shaker, pod), lab testing, and the analysis of the test data. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in electrical engineering, an analytic capability to evaluate sensor physics, and demonstrated ability in applying test methodologies to assess system performance. Experience in any of the following areas would be a plus: signal processing, control theory, data acquisition and analysis, system error modeling and diagnostics, and inertial sensor modeling and test. Qualifications BSEE (MS preferred) with 5+ years experience in electronics for instrumentation, data acquisition, and test equipment design. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are required. The ability to document designs, simulations, and test results for distribution and presentation to a technical audience is desired. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical level with minimal supervision. Proficiency in MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, SPICE, Cadence or other similar modeling tools is a plus. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
