Software Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer with a range of experience to join our evolving QA team. You must have hands-on experience working with a development team contributing to product design and working with that team to identify and resolve issues.

You should possess a clear understanding of the Software development process life cycle and specific knowledge of quality processes.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for advancement as our QA organization grows. This is a great opportunity for someone to work with first-of-a-kind prototypes in a research environment.

Responsibilities:

Provide life-cycle support for large-scale hardware/software integrated projects with real-time embedded software. Design, development, review and maintain of test plan specifications and documentation including quality plans, test plans, test requirement and test cases. Ensure that work meets or exceeds project performance, reliability and quality goals. Review and analyze project Software Requirement specifications. Identify areas for team or process improvement. Participate in specifications reviews to help clarify features and testing requirements. Ensure that all code changes made during the testing cycle are verified.

Qualifications:

BS degree in a technical discipline with at least 10 years of demonstrated experience in quality processes. Plus possess leadership skills including the ability to research, plan and execute tasks with limited supervision.
