Software Quality Assurance Test Analyst

Responsibilities:

* Conduct functional testing on data delivery software, radio frequency mesh network technology, and related interfaces. Produce automated regression test suites

* Document test strategy, test plans, test cases, issues and defects.

* Cross train with other PG&E project staff in testing, and other related departments. Provide project updates to the SmartMeter Upgrade team, as well as the project team.

* Configure lab work with vendors, train on network and operating software. Resolve connectivity issues, report defects, coordinate defect fixes and patches.

Essential/Required

*Test Automation experience or certification - vendor and/or shareware tools

*Network and Interface testing experience required

*Radio frequency network experience

*Senior level testing experience is required for this position, minimum 5 years

*Excellent documentation skills

*College degree in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience

Marginal/Desired

*Utility software experience

*Prior technical lab experience

*Structured programming knowledge in C++ or Java

*Automation tool certification
