QA Analyst

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will perform vital testing of our software products on a variety of platforms to ensure compliance with functional requirements and high performance in our customers' technology environments. You will be responsible for development and execution of all integration test plans, developing test software Integration and validation of software and hardware products to ensure compliance with functional requirements. Additional responsibilities include: - Analyze Business, Functional and Design Specifications - Develop and execute system test plans and test cases - Set-up, configure and help maintain system test environments. -Maintain documentation of all test results - Provide test status and metrics to management and/or team leads - Debug and characterize defects, provide detailed configuration and define criteria for passing and failing tests for test reports - Ensure that defects and requirement variances are being appropriately communicated to development for correction - Verifiy adherence to documentation standards

Requirements: - Thorough understanding of development methodologies and processes as they pertain to the software development life cycle - Experience with automated test tools preferrably Mercury - Significant experience with WebSphere, DB2, AIX and Linux is preferred. Should be able to build and deploy application on test environment. - Integration testing experience on an enterprise software business application that has been released, preferable multiple versions - In-depth understanding of technical aspects of a software application - Experience in banking or financial systems is a plus - Proven ability to meet deadlines on aggressive schedules - Ability to manage multiple responsibilities, while effectively focusing on priority issues - Ability to thoroughly document testing procedures and issues - Exceptional customer service approach to work with internal and external customers -At least 4 years hands-on manual testing experience - Detail oriented and self-motivating - Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast paced environment.
